Hi Everyone New to this forum thought I'd share my project I've been building the last few years with you. Its a 1992 Honda Civic EG started life with a little 1.5 engine in but now its had a B Series 1.8 Engine in running around 170bhp from the factory. Ive slowly been building it and added upgrading parts along with a turbo kit. I'm nearly there with it now getting it roadworthy / track worthy only thing it needs now is a decent paint job in and out to get it looking half decent. The intention was never a show car I just wanted it clean underneath and engine healthy as possible that was my goal so please don't think I'm trying to pass it off as perfect hahaha. If u would like to follow my progress heres some links InstaGram - hatch92life Youtube - Heres a few pics I took recently I will upload some more from my build thread I have and show my progress and what I was up to ...

Looks ace, should be a proper laugh with boost. oh definately mate its so fun with boost its transformed the car... haven't drove it since last year but last year it had interior and dash board etc etc so its gonna be a lot more fun now with the cage and plastic windows and with all the weight stripped

Any idea what power it's making? I'm just collecting bits to build a turbo B16 for my Del Sol.

Ah cool. I'm aiming for a bit more, it'd be nice to make 6 but anything over 500hp and I'll be happy. Got a few ideas to try out.

Yeah just rods and pistons for now, balanced stock crank though. Not sure on block strengthening yet, it'll be a deck filler of some description and some sort of thrust side support.

Yeah, I'll fit a deck plate and probably peg the block on the thrust side of the cylinders too. I do that sort of stuff for a job so won't cost much. TBF I've looked after a B18 making 450whp for a while that hasn't got any block strengthening and it's been good as gold, but I'm gonna do it anyway as I'd rather have the block good for more power than I want to be safe.
