So best start a build post of my next project ๐ 65 Airflow mk1 Cortina GT replica.. sort of ! Picked up at a good price as the build quality is shocking ๐คจ paint looks like it's been thrown, engine installation is curse word ! And it could generally do with sorting out and doing properly! But it's all there. And is basically a big kit of parts. Everything I need is there ๐ค Front GT struts off and converted to Coilovers along with 2" lowering blocks ( yet to be fitted) for the rear. New rims ( the compulsory 7x13 minilights with 175/50/13s on them ๐ ) and it already looks better for it. I'll keep you all posted .

Apart from the dirty engine and the front end in primer it looks like a very nice car. I suppose a closer look will reveal some flaws. Looking forward to this project.

Front end in primer due to me finding flaws in it already ! I plan to strip the engine out over the next few weeks to tidy up the engine bay. Then I'll decide if "dirty engine " is going back in or know ๐

Definitely ditch for something "prettier" Pete. As much as they are a good chugger , they really are better off in a transit , or on the end of a mooring chain!๐๐

Nice one I have a LHD version in white and have decided to add the red stripe to go with the red interior. But we have gone for the Lotus steel wheel look. It has the asmatic 1200 still in it, if it stays we will upgrade to a 1860 X Flow and a 5 Speed for cruising on the German Autobahn will be better.
