Yep. He's now on Instagram if you want to keep following his work cheers, just located him on instagram, so at least i can see what he's up to..... no idea what happened, but theres a few accounts that seem to have deleted in the last week or so.... seems a shame, this was one of the few forums that seemed to have mostly survived the move over to social media... oh well, life goes on byond the internet.... This forum is a daily refuge for me from the increasingly grotty world. I live in the U.S., where things are unbelievably negative. As such, I admire the diversity and anti-snobbiness of the guys and their projects here, be they something rather special or utterly prosaic. I particularly enjoyed GN's posts and can only imagine the amount of time he put into sharing his work with us ... Uploading, writing, responding to requests for clarification, education. I could always tell he's a proud bloke but he has a sense of humor and was never imune to a good laff with others on here who might good-naturedly take the pi$$ once in a while. I have zero idea as to what happened to cause us to now be without him but I for one am now that much poorer for his departure. This internet thing allows us to make friends across distance and borders but also lacks the facility for each of us to look one another in the eye and get a feeling or signal that a conversation or situation is going south, and therefore to adjust and reconfigure whatever it is we're saying. And that assumes a conversation between two men of good faith;'if there was anything cruel or nasty at work here, I hope the perpetrator was suitably called out and chastised. If, however, it was just within the realm of misunderstanding, plus or minus a standard deviation or two, it would be satisfying for all of the parties concerned to mutually and unequivocally say something to the effect of, "That went pear-shaped rather too quickly; I am sorry that I caused offence; I hope we can move forward, a little wiser and get back to a more harmonious state". If we can't get along in an environment of our mutual hobby, we're well and truly fooked.

If you don't use Facebook it doesn't work as the password system doesn't work on a PC only a phone for creating a new account.

No idea what went on but seems such a shame to have lost such a valued contributor to the forum. If anyone could shed any light on what instigated the departure that would be good. To be fair, Chris (GN) probably spent hours trying (succeeding/failing) to upload pictures/posts. So, he may be gone but a massive thumb up and thanks for his support of this forum over the years.

looks like I'm joining in late to this update...I have learned an incredible amount of things from GN over the years...he is quick to answer PMs and very very generous and gracious with his responses, time, knowledge, as we all know too well.
I cannot imagine what happened....

I am also disappointed to find GN has left. I am normally more of a reader than a poster and I too have found loads of inspiration from his posts.
Does he have a name or a handle or a hashtag or is this something which cannot be divulged?

Mike Morning guys, I think you will find more answers in one of Chris’s other threads, However, I could be wrong, but it seems to have either been deleted, or hidden from view. There was a massive kick off, and various people have blamed each other, and some helped off here, while others sit back and watch their life’s work. I am personally sorry we have lost the likes of him and others , but ultimately, it is not my forum, and I like this place. I will; not get involved (Or did I just do that) as this continues to be my safe place. He and J0hnnybrav0 are both still alive, and doing their thing on Instawhatsit that I do not do. Please do not over react, forums have always been organic and will grow as the seasons change.
