One of my old Victors. I loved this car, it was greeat, rode well, handled well (for what it was) and looked great.
IIRC it was a bit lowered mostly at the front, Weber, overdrive conversion, a few bits like that, 100+ Turbovane alloys, some "ICE", a vinyl top and a few bits and bobs, also had a neato period add on console too. Had a respray in a Ford shade of electric blue metallic.
Anyway, I sold it to a mate of mine who de-modded it as much as he could easily. I kept the wheels when I sold it to him.
And he drove it for a while. Then he sold it with 6 months T&T to a lad who seemed very keen and had other classics.
Well, maybe 6 months later we (me, the lad I sold it to and the lad I bought it off) were all in a mood to go for a looksie what was in the local scrapper. Guess what we saw! The Victor! It had just come in the previous day so had not been stacked yet. So Martin bought it back. Turns out the lad had scrapped it because it failed its MOT on a steering rack with excess play....
FFS
So martin set too and fully restored it over the next coupe of years. New wings, inners, arches, maybe some other parts too. Then a full respray while it was all stripped down and then a nice reassemble.
The colour is Peacock Blue which was correct for these when new.
So thats how that one worked out over the last 10 - 12 years...
