So I’m helping a mate do a conversion on a MK5 Escort van that started life as a diesel and now need some advice on the fuelling side of things the donor car was a MK5 Xr3i
Work done so far
2.0 Zetec enging and box fitted
Subframe, brakes, steering and suspension
Full wiring loom and dash refitted
The donor car didn’t have a pump in the tank it had already been removed but the car was running fine just rotted
Anyway, I’ve managed to get a petrol van tank without the pump so my question is what pump do I need to get that will fit this tank? Also, what fuel lines do people use on the van conversion? or is it a case of using the car lines and adapted to fit the van?
Any help would be appreciated

I have a brand new pump here I bought but didn’t need as I found one at my pals garage
I fitted a petrol tank to my diesel van when we done the zetec conversion
Just the fittings on the pipes will need altering to fit the pump I have , it’s new still in the box pm me if your interested

Two Dans had Two Vans both went too slow. So without much fussing but plenty of cussing. They now have much more go!
