Although my 'Lude is far from Retro I do appreciate the older J cars and would love to moidify my 'Lude in a tradition fitting with its origin. Rather than the old UK way.
So what is traditional J style when it comes to modifying cars. On thing I feel is would be black wheels with a polished rim which I plan to do.
Any other pointers?

How far do you want to go? Full Bozokuzu style? Slammed as you like with bolt on black flared arches and external mounted Oil Cooler?? Get wheels that match the body colour. Should be pretty easy for you. Clean and smooth,.. So clear indicator lenses,.. no side repeater. OR Highlight everything that stands out,.. so different coloured door handles, black wheels, black bonnet, wing mounted mirrors (black),.. I quite like the look of this Supra on salt lake. Yeah, that's not bad, especially considering the only things that aren't factory on it (well the exterior) are the paintjob and the wheels.

those mk2 celica-supras are awesome! my friends just bought his third one - getting pretty hard to find these days, but can still be picked up bloody cheap. he sold his rusty two tone one on ebay a couple of weeks back and got £450 for it but two weeks later got offered a really nice condition one in white with a manual box and LSD for £250, which he snapped up, slung some new rubber on and now drives sideways everywhere!

Those Supra's and Nissan 200SX are really good value, if you find a good one. (IF!) I'm a big fan of these Mitsubishi Starions too!
