	Hi all after a long sabbatical I finally have another retro under my custodianship... It's not quite the Mk2 Granada I'm used to having but unfortunately my pockets aren't as deep as they once were... So with that in mind I took the plunge on this... One elderly lady owner since 1998 - bought as an ex demonstrator having traded in her 1990 820. She decided to give up driving having suffered a stroke at the age of 94! The bodywork is sound enough although it does look like it's been driven by a pensioner - tell take scratches and scrapes from the M&S carpark. It came with the original bill of sale and a FSH - more shockingly everything electrical works! It drives beautifully and it would appear there are only a few minor niggles to sort out bodywork wise. I will get a few interior shots once she's had a good valet... Dan

	Managed to make the most of the decent weather last week and go for a little blast with a good friend and colleague who happens to be the keeper of a very original series 1 Maestro..... It's crazy how two cars that were relatively undesirable get so much attention when parked together now a days!

	Thats a lovely looking car. I have owned my 1992 820si since 2002, one of the best cars I ever bought. In 18 years, it has never failed to start and always got me home.These cars have their niggles, like the T16 oil leak from the corner of the cylinder head but that is easily fixed with the copper pipe mod. Always be sure to have the emergency code with you in case you get looked out and the immobiliser comes on. Cars have ended up being scrapped for just that one reason. Enjoy.

	Good looking these fastback models and in one of the best colours too. I have owned a couple of 800 saloons plus a Coupe and recently bought another 820 Sterling saloon, so interested in seeing how you get on with this.

	So.. after a 2 year sabbatical (change of Mrs, change of house and change of job) I've decided I should update this! Having other priorities on the 800 had to take a bit of a back seat and in doing so needs a bit of tlc which I really don't have the time for at the moment... Roll forward to earlier this week when pulling up at home the new much nicer Mrs was stood on the drive with... Another 820! She saw it advertised on faceache marketplace and wanted to surprise me - definitely a keeper! Identical spec as my other one but with straighter bodywork. Dry stored for 8 years then put back on the road in 2018 and used sparingly up until now. Full service history as per it's sister car and drives absolutely superbly.... She's a beaut.....
