Hi all, I need some help. I have a Renault B14 engine same block as Renault 5 GT Turbo. I'm using a 5 GTT oil cooler sandwich behind the oil filter for an oil cooler take off.
It's a thermostatic one and I now want to drill and tap it to make an oil feed for a turbo.
The question is, where to put it? In the pics below the first pic is looking at the face that the oil filter screws against and the second pic is the engine block side.
Obviously I will drill in through the side but not sure which "chamber" to drill into to get oil at all times not affected by the thermostat
