1962 Ford Consul Classic 1500 cc.
New style v5 in my name- only 5 previous owners!
Very nice reg; XSL 509
Rare 2 door model.
Complete car to my knowledge. I have a new set of tyres included, the bumpers are off- but present. Vintage roof rack to go with it, some paperwork and tax discs (newest 05), brand new battery etc.
1500 pre-crossflow- was running a few years back but been sitting with stale fuel in the tank- so needs fresh fuel and service etc before starting.
Pretty solid car and hasnt had masses of welding for one of these.
Needs some welding to rear spring hangers, tiny bit to drivers floor pan, front and rear valances, tiny bit to door bottom, rear arch and sill area, and bit around the boot lip.
Nice patina as a ratty run around, but to be fair would be well worth investing in a full respray as these cars are getting thin on the ground and only going up in value.
Priced to sell.
