After driving the car for a bit(2 tanks of juice)I decided to get the original 8 hole wheels refurbed , with the roof off it drives much better on the 16's , with the roof on the 18's are fine as any scuttle shake is properly diminished by the rigidity of the hard top. Anyways I contacted Chris at exelwheels , he picked them up and delivered them back the other day , properly impressed with the service , they look like new!   |

I've finally sorted the DAB out , bought one of these Had to buy some adapters for the aerial connectors and one for the DAB connector , fitted it all last night and it works a treat , DAB through my existing electric aerial , happy days |

Those 16' wheels came out lovely. Contemplating getting a 320 as an investment/weekend cruiser so following this thread closely. That panoramic hardtop is the "BAWSE"...they must be pretty rare to find.

Lovely R129. I've only driven one with top down, how is it with hardtop? Like proper coupe? Does the roof move and make noises.

To my eye, an extraordinarily handsome car, best Bruno Sacco design. Superb, esp. with those AMG wheels.

To my eye, an extraordinarily handsome car, best Bruno Sacco design. Superb, esp. with those AMG wheels. John I concur. A true design icon. One of these is on my bucket list. The v8 I expect is the sweet spot but that V12 (Pagani Zonda block) must be a mad thing to drive. |

Thanks folks , it came with the pano roof , they all had a hard top from new , the pano is lovely though.. Its deffo a cruiser/mile muncher , they are not suited for hooning about , tbh any of the available powerplants would be fine in it, I just wanted a V8 .. With the top on it drives like a normal car with a roof , the 18"s are fine with the hard top as any scuttle shake is negated by the stiffness of the roof , its pretty silent with the hard top on . Its currently wearing the 16"s as the roof is off, the bigger sidewall makes it drive much better with the roof off. I've also fitted a set of 10mm hubcentric spacers and longer bolts on the rear to fill the arch a bit.. Met a mate earlier and went for a socially distanced pint ..1500 miles in and its all good..   |

There was some blue in the sky today ... almost took the top off but the Mrs says no...mind you the pano roof mostly makes up for it   |

Wafted the old girl to Deal in Kent last month for a long weekend at a beach front house with friends, car was fantastically comfy on the drive there and back..no pics of the car but the sky was bloomin fantastic..   |
