1971 Baja beetle
Tax and mot exempt.
Runs well, nice and loud with stinger exhaust.
Sprayed in matt teal paint so it's rough and ready. Inside is still white but have paint to do it if you wanted. I quite like the contrast.
Will get some more pictures as these were just after paint.
Interior is standard seats, although drivers seat has a rip covered by a carefully placed hessian sack.
Overall drives well despite only being a 1300 engine, gears can be hard to find at times and slight oil leak from pushrod seal, but what vw doesn't mark their spot?
Just adds to the character, I'm in no rush to sell but would like something different and just as cool and or querky, retro ford,mini, vauxhall, Renault, anything really... I do want something quicker with a cheeky engine swap maybe.
