Hi, Here I have my Mk 1 Golf GTI.
But its a GTI 'roof spoiler model' which I was told is pretty rare.
The car is solid, never been welded at all, has been stripped right down and taken right back. Fully re sprayed in black, the doors and bonnet are still at the paint shop but will be finished to same standards the shell.
Engine has been professionally rebuilt by a German race company. Looks like new, and less than 1000 miles.
Rolling on original Pirelli alloys. Interior is real nice,t wear on drivers seat. All parts are here plus spares too.
Needs the engine dropping in, then interior and doors etc fitting up, and final assembly etc.
I would be happy to fit the rest of the glass, bonnet and doors before it leaves here, just to make life easier and safer in terms of transport and logistics.
Its had more than the asking price spent on it just in terms of bodywork and engine rebuild! It is on track to become a concourse car if the effort is put in to finishing it.
I brought it as soon as I see it because they are becoming increasingly sought after and hard to find a decent one, and to be honest this will be a very decent example once its finished, just I have too many cars in storage and would be nice to see it go to a good home and get put back on the road.
I will sort some decent photos out tomorrow, any questions are welcome.....
Cheers, Matt
