Hi, recently purchased a 1995 ford mondeo 24v manual in dark aubergine. My question has been discussed many times on the internet but juts wondering if anyone on here knows anything. The car is juts a basic 24v mondeo with hardly any options. It’s got quite a lot of history from factory and has cosworth badges on the boot and inlet manifold. On the front grille there’s a plaque saying “ G & D motorsports ford cosworth 24v 1 of 7 made. Then there’s a serial number. I know that ford never made a cosworth mondeo and the only 24v cosworth was the Granada. Maybe it’s just someone putting cosworth badges on the car but juts wondering if anyone knew anything about this car Thanks

Does it look like a BOA or BOB engine from a Granny?

I guess the burgandy could have been described as red, Ford never made such a beast but I guess it's possible Cosworth did some tuning packages, unless the paperwork proves this I would treat it as a tidy v6 Mondeo with some badges stuck on it though.
