With an abundance of curse word old Vauxhalls hanging around here I think it's time to sell the Cavalier, I've made little progress in the time I've owned it mainly because the majority of my time is spent on the Chevette.
I bought it as a non runner but have since fitted a fuel pump, ignition components, rocker cover gasket and got it running ok.
It's been off the road for a very long time and is showing 3k miles on the clock, there's a few documents with the car including a couple of old mot certificates from 96 and 99 showing low mileages. It could be on 103k but there's no real way of knowing.
The underside of the car is in great condition with no rot or rust, chassis rails, sills, floors, inner wheel arches are in spectacular condition but there's a few areas of surface rust around the body and some rot around the rear windscreen and the top of the front wings.

It's a 1.6 petrol with 4 speed manual gearbox, it seems to go up and down through the gears fine but the clutch release bearing is noisy. The brakes barely work so I haven't driven it far, I think it needs a brake line replaced somewhere. It would need transported away, I can get some reasonably priced quotes for delivery.
It owes me around £1100 and I'd very much like that back.
