After a 27 year wait I finally got my hands on one of these! I was pretty specific - it had to be black with black interior and hood. It definitely had to be a 6 cylinder and ideally a pre final facelift Sportline. I found my ideal car...….   |

   H&R Cupkit with R129 SL front shock top mounts lowered it 60mm front and 40mm rear got it sitting where I wanted and riding niceand smoothly. 9x17 and 8x17 Alzor 803s got it looking how I wanted! |

These E320s/320CEs do drive lovely!
I do miss my E320 Estate. But admittedly, the fuel bill was not ideal for a daily.

I would very enjoy 10 pages of just different shots of the finished car. When something looks this good , you can't have too much of it.
Stance is perfect - lowered but not dragging on the floor - makes car look longer and leaner.
Wheels are in keeping but a bit different and a perfect size and classic silver - yum
I wouldn't have gone for black/black personally (love a cream interior!) but I'd be tempted now I've seen how amazing this looks.
Details I LOVE!
1) orange indicators
2) colour combo
3) the aerial coming out of the rear quarter - nice angle accentuating the lines
4) why do I love how the sunblinds stick upwards with the top down?
More more MORE! Needs interior shots, shots with hood up, just more of everything please!

9x17 and 8x17 Alzor 803s got it looking how I wanted! Were the wheels a direct fit or did you have to use adapters? Had a quick look at Alzors and didn't see ones with Merc fitment. edit: found them, in 17" flavour like yours. No 18's unfortunately. linkCheers AL. |

Never been a massive lover of modern Merc's but like a lot of the older one's,
I have to say, this car is stunning, perfect stance, best wheels (IMO) and good colour,
Looking forward to reading the future updates on the project,

I like cream interiors too but black A124s either came with beige, grey or black interiors as standard. I don't like the beige or grey at all! |
