New here.
Currently driving a Saab 900 T16S 1985 Would love to sample a Saab 9000 2.3 Carlsson CS or an early Aero, but itching to get my hands on a Skoda Rapid 136 to play with. Nothing was as much fun to throw arround as my lowered tweaked decent tyred 120L Estelle, wish I chosen a decent example of a Rapid, isntead of the cheapest Estelle I could find at the time.

I quite fancy an original 99 Turbo... How cool are those alloys!

A guy up the road from me has got one. It's completely immaculate / standard as well.
Agreed, those alloys are really nice.

Hiya! Welcome aboard, I rather like the older Saab myself... if I could just get away from all these VW's...

I quite fancy an original 99 Turbo... How cool are those alloys! Oh a 99 with incas is a joy to behold. Very nice. With lag you could measure in hours, and a spare pair of brown underpants in the glow box for when it did eventually spool up mid hairpin. ;D

I had a Saab! (Ok, it was a pre-turbo Saab...but I've still had one!) Nice. Is that a twostroke, or a V4? Always had thing for the pre99, 9* models. Especially those with the freewheel transmission to save on oil starvation on long engine brakes. That is why Saab fitted discs allround, because when you freewheel the brakes have to do so much more work.

This is my Old estelle as I bought it for £95 with a week on the MOT. And this is it with a set of '80's Celica front seats, mountney classic wheel and some shiny bits bodged in. It also had a weber BDIC carb, K&N, Sports exhaust, factory alloys, GAZ shocks, and a set of 185/70R13 BGF tourings fitted This was my Favorit, sadly now departed as the next owner managed to get a small electrical fire that wrote it off. As I bought it for £80 but needing a new windscreen when the 6month MOT ran out. Originally fitted a set of scrapyard Diahatsu charade seats. But they weren't that comfy or supportive, so they went in favour of a set of Cobra Monaco's and this steering wheel but in red leather. Also uprated the Radio Cassette to an ISO fitted CD player and built some kick pods to fit 6.5" 3 way pioneers in place of 4" 2 way nonames that are factory fit. and built a steath shelf using double layer 12mm MDF and sound deadening to house a set of 7x10 speakers. . the car also had a set of HP sporting adjustable height struts and a Sebring back box. And now we get to the Saab Photos of which I've added to the readers ride thread.
