Reluctantly I am clearing space and trying to cut back on the number of cars that I have, here gathering dust!
Mk 1 Escort 1100, 2 -door, with low miles and only a total of 3 owners in its life !
This is a very standard and a very original car, it is rock solid, and I can only make out a couple areas that it has been previously welded. All original floors, sills, inner wings, valances, etc.
As straight as you could wish for- NO FILLER, NO DENTS etc. The previous owner started to bare-metal it and you can see how un-restored and original this shell is.
It is a complete car, all parts are here.
The only modification is the addition of RS front wings (but I have the solid original wings available with car too).
Chrome looks pretty straight and good.
Engine has been removed a few months back ready for re-spray (was running and driving sweet at the time).
Totally original interior too- almost immaculate condition (bar a rip on drivers seat).
Very rare colour and original too.
Means this is such a original and straight example, I was planning on turning this into a concourse car.
My plan was to put the shell straight onto a spit and give it a full re spray, then start building the car back up again. There realy isnt much to these cars, but they are worth strong money once completed.
