Right-o got some pervy ideas for the old bus involving alloys. They are 16 inchers so will be a tight squeeze in the 240's arches so i need to see what is the lowest possible profile combo for 16" wheels.
195/40/16? How much thicker, realistically would 195/45/16 be? 205 would be too wide fo'sure taking into account arch issues.
Also, would there be any stretch on a 7" wide wheel with 195/40 tyres?
Ta muchly.

Cant remember the size but you need them off the rear of a brabus smart. At least that the conclusions I came up with when investigating 16's on the MB. 195's the bulge of the tyre is wider than yer wheels so there'll be no stretch to speak of but the walls will be closer to parrallel. 175/55R16 off an elise, 175 is as near as to 7" so should be just enough for a little bit of stretch. 48mm top and bottom 175/50's for a slightly lower profile, 44mm top and bottom, so the profile on these is about the same as yer 195/45. However this is just info gleaned from on here, so shoot me down in flames if I have miss-interpreted how this tyre sizing malarky works.
