	The plan for the rest of the week. remove seized central locking kit actuators! Refit the boot lock (currently disconnected) Get the battery back in it & see if it is still good after a recharge (questionable)... Change the Thermostat & put new coolant in. I put a jerrycan of 99 fuel in yesterday - so hopefully get her running again later. The list of small annoying jobs are getting longer:- Window winders don't clear the door speakers (bought extenders from brickworks!) The radio doesnt work The Amp doesnt get power.... The Sub has been stolen There is a small hole in the battery tray The driver side check strap needs a spot weld on it It needs new wipers Check the lights/bulbs Drivers side seat doesnt tilt without help.. The wheels need some TLC (but there is also a set of 14" Ronal's coming with the rest of the spares next week which I think will really suit the new look that I'm going for...

	New battery on last night - £50 worth of Bosch's finest. £5 worth of fuel out of a can.... Turned the key & NOTHING! Just turning over and no spark - ! Immobiliser acting up? (Clifford 450 with no fob!) Nope! Turned out to be a loose connector to the coil! Pulled apart cleaned contacts & clipped back together full hone - turned the key & it burst in to life! Sounds a little rough currently as its been sat for a while - next service parts!

	So i decided to get stuck in last night at the car again. A brand new Clifford alarm fob & a set of pairing instructions. Unfortunately the system seems to have a non-standard pin number & refuses to go in to program mode to pair the fob to it..... So they whole system is going to have to come out & i'll need to repair the loom back to standard... That also means the old central locking kit will need to come out. The Stereo & hands free kit aren't getting any power, so that's going to have to get sorted out too... I ran that car last night for a few minutes to just get the oil circulating round the engine. It ran for a few minutes, i then touched the accelerator and the car died. Not sure what the issue is (but i expect it to be spark related - so put a new coil on order) I think i may have bitten off more than I can chew with the MOT on the 14th, but i'm going to give it a bloody good try!

	So! No Mot on the 14th! The car still refuses to run - the sump was full of fuel/oil. so all drained out - will probably need to be flushed through again. The car is overfueling a lot! So injectors are away for a rebuild - but I also have an inclination that its the ECU! I bit the bullet & took the alarm out! 8 hours of work to remove all the wiring and repair the loom correctly! Hard work with it in situ - but I managed it!

	Injectors, new plugs and oil change done & it still fails to start. I've pulled out the engine loom to check the wiring (especially the earth crimp in the looms) and re-wrap the whole thing. I have spoke with Bedrock Retro VW's in Glasgow - and they might be taking it off me to sort it out if I fail to get it running. Another couple of people mentioned its probably the ECu as they don't like being jumped started too many times - in the 3 hours it took us to get it out of the garage and on to the tow truck - then up my driveway - this wouldnt surprise me!

	Sounds daft but have you checked all the earths are good? I seem to recall my G40 would struggle to start and run like curse word when the earths got all furry.

	ECU/engine loom removed and repaired / re-wrapped with genuine VW loom tape
