In Feb 2010, I still had my Dolomite Sprint... PICT0013 by Robert Seymour, on Flickr And then in March 2010, it was sold and I bought a TR7, for some wedge goodness! Just over 10 years ago my wife and I were just about to start a family, so we decided to pass our car tests after several years on motorbikes only. Our first car after passing was this little Saxo. It got taken out by a police van running a red light on a blind T-junction while they attempted an undertake straight on in a left-turn-only lane. Needless to say they admitted fault. Probably would have kept that car for quite a while otherwise, it was absolutely mint. Dad was in the trade, so promptly sorted us out with something off the forecourt, a 323F that's in the background Fast forward 10 years and I'm in in the Supra, with still a couple of bikes kicking around.

Interesting thread!! 10 years ago I was Driving... an Escort 1.4 Mistral . Loved this Car until the big ends went! Tried to sell it but so many chancers called me and with having the replacement car/moving house this went to banger racers... sad day. Replacement Car was a 1.4 Focus Estate LX . This is definitely the best car i've ever owned hands down although fairly dull. Handling was pretty good for an Estate. scrapped with 204,000 miles on it only because i'd moved to London and it wasn't worth putting a cambelt + Exhaust on it. Owned for 7 years. Here it is going to the scrap yard. Today... Proud owners of these two... 1985 Escort mk3 (owned since 2013) its a keeper thats for sure!! Always wanted one of these from being a child. This one has had a lot of work done to it in my ownership and coming up to 60k now. Its had a couple of resprays from this pic and now is nice and shiny although needs attention in other areas such as oil leaks etc. 2013 2017 (pretty much the same) 1979 Capri Ghia 2.0 (bought last year) on going project. My first proper project and we'll see if its a keeper. Last year At the moment ... new wheels and some little bits and bobs suspension and interior
