So i have been living at my house for about 5 years now and been blessed to have a dry space to store my car and do some work on it.
I have been able to complete loads of maintenance and even change the engine on my car in this small space and although it is not big, its what i have and i make the most of it.
Since moving in i have had a smal leak in the roof and its never been that much of an issue but i have decided to have it sorted and have a new roof fitted.
The roof sheets are comprised of what i believe to be Asbestos, the neighbours had it in theirs, so i'm getting a friend who runs his own roofing company in to complete the work. I could easily do the work, but its just not worth the risk and this is his bread and butter, so let the expert get on with it.
As you can see, its cosy, but its slightly wider than a single and a bit longer too.
Work should begin in a week or so and it'll have a new 3 layer flat roof and new facias.
Additional plans are to renew the lighting system with a bright LED system with directional lighting aswell as floor lighting to help me when i begin stripping the underseal and do some winter restoration.
i need to renew the rear window at some point as its a bit rotten at the edges but thats not an immediate requirement.
i'll update with new pics when they replace the roof in the coming week or so. i'm quite excited to have a nice dry space again!
