Hi guys, I'm wanting to buy my dad a MK2 cortina or MK2 escort or something similar, I've heard they're a bit cheaper to get in places like Malta and Greece.
Do we anyone on this wonderful forum know how to go about buying a car from these countries and getting them imported and registered?
Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this!
Thanks in advance guys!

Bookmarked as I'm waiting to hear if I've got a job in Portugal - importing something when I come back has crossed my mind

I suspect all the cheap ones have already been bought off Malta - they’re buying ones from the UK and shipping them out there nowadays!

I helped a guy from Malta import a US based ‘barn stored’ 356A Coupe over there about 2 years ago now. I think the boat has sailed for anything much over tat from there.
