Ah yes a new grizz mobile! Pleased that you've got to scratch that itch. What are you thinking of replacing the Cragars with? I like the Cragar design, but I agree that they aren't right for this truck. Doubt you'll have any issue selling those. Looking forward to hearing about your latest addition to the driveway/carport and its forthcoming grizzification. Nice one. Wheels question answered above. There are also these 15” wheels. Actually also OEM and I love them, would have them over the ones on the show truck. Regarding selling them, interestingly, the show truck guy wants them. Details to be discussed. It will be interesting to see how it dictates modification. Great purchase, ideal spec'. I'm with you on the wheels and would lose the stripes - it'll look better plain and simple, an honest, smart truck. Thank you very much mate. I think the thing with the colour, shape etc is that it has a bit of timelessness to it. I like red cars, but red is a fail on these, not tha the red is not pretty, but some of the other colours work a lot better. mrbounceThese are the other OEM wheels I really like.

Fabulous purchase dear sir! A real looker and mint to boot so no lying under it this winter Its the polar opposite to mine with its plastic dash & door panels but I'm sure the two will play well together at some point! With that low a mileage, did it come with any service history at all? I think the Cragars suit it Rian but that's my humble and unsolicited opinion but on the other hand.......you are not going all Donk on us are you? Thank you Martin, I think Paul Y is sighing a sigh of relief that there is not a manky V8 American on the drive, because the norm is that he comes over to play only when it drops below 6’C It does come with service history and some bills. I t seems to have managed to slip into that succession of owners some cars have that just save them for High days and Holidays. If I think of it, I tend to only do 2k miles in my toys per year, due to having the Focus as company car. No donning here.

Isn't it fab. Super luxurious in the cab and then all that room in the back for moving stuff. I know it's not the same but for some reason I am singing the theme tune of the fall guy. 'I never spent much time in school but I taught ladies plenty....' 😁

Thought I would post replies from Garge Journal on here too.
Some useful information and guidance.

I bought an 03 regular cab new, 2.2 and automatic. I drove it for 15 year and 130k. Two sets of door bushings and a transmission solenoid. Otherwise just brakes, tires, and oil changes.
Good luck. It is all in how you treat them. [/b][/font]

Agree on the wheels a classic 70’s (?) design doesn’t work on this truck at all
Sounds like a deal is already being done so good news there
No seats in the back? Just load space ?

Wheel deal currently just in development. Little fold down midget sized jump seats. So really just a three seater bench up front.

Personally I like the Cragars too.
Enjoy the new toy.

Looks a good buy, should be easy to run, parts I recently bought from rock auto were cheap and turned up in 3 days, better than I get from many UK suppliers.

Very you. It fits nicely in the fleet more than the galaxy did imho and the galaxy was used as a van any way and a double cab gives you the best of both worlds for people / stuff transport capacity.

And made the transition form people carrier to curse word carrier with ease. Truck is just a bit more me. Looks a good buy, should be easy to run, parts I recently bought from rock auto were cheap and turned up in 3 days, better than I get from many UK suppliers. Rock Auto seems to get good reviews. Time will tell if this is a decent deal. Very you. It fits nicely in the fleet more than the galaxy did imho and the galaxy was used as a van any way and a double cab gives you the best of both worlds for people / stuff transport capacity. Feel it is me. And function and form is equal measure. Lovely looking machine, can’t wait to see the Grizz spin on it. Thanks mate, not much spinning planned. A few small changes though. Wow! I like that it comes with the 'low fuel light' already on 😁 I was patient for a few years. Paul Y was yo g earlier today when we were chatting, that I have wanted one of these S10’s for as long as he has known me. Certainly true. Countdown continues. .

As jealous as I am this truck couldn't have gone to a more appropriate buyer...good luck with her, looking forward to the updates!
Rockauto have always been spot on with me when ordering parts...I may have priced S10 service parts on there myself not long ago...

I like both the current as the OEM wheels. The current ones only need a bit wider track to fill the arches better then I would keep them. But if one thing (beside the females) is taste related that it will be wheels. Thom

Funny you say that, I feel the same about Flingstam buying the Deliboy. He is so the right guy, doing it justice. I like both the current as the OEM wheels. Also, an interesting fact is that all American pickups up to 5500kg are to be tested as class 4 for MOT purposes Whether they would all fit on a ramp at any class 4 testing station is a different matter tho
