So I bought this in June as a rolling resto (which to me always ends up as just keeping it on the road). It started out as a 1.3, but now has a 2 litre with a twin choke carb and a 5 speed gearbox, however it does still have the 1.3 axle which is a bit whiney so I've picked up a replacement to fit over the winter. After having a good look round it i'm relieved to see that is is very solid, (I've only found 3 rust holes) My plans are to eventually use it as my daily, so to that end I'll be going through the mechanicalls, fitting a ghia interior (it's a bit ropey at the moment), upgrading the brakes on the front, converting the rear axle to discs and calipers (when I fit the replacement) So far I've done front wheel bearings, front springs & shocks & ball joints, replaced the heater matrix, fitted some cortina gls seats I had hanging around. The next jobs I want to do are change the thermostat, change the oil and filter, adjust the tappets, get the choke to work properly, replace the front subframe bushes and arb droplink bushes,
