Been a very long time since I frequented these forums but I stumbled over it again and thought I would share my summer fun with you.
I bought this 2 years ago after restoring a Ford Capri 280 Brooklands, which, after 10 years of ownership, many swear words, cut fingers, blood sweat and tears, I sold as they went a bit mental and I had a house to buy.

Anyway after a bit of time sulking because I didn’t have a toy and my only automotive excitement consisted of a Nissan Qashqai company car, or the occasional blast in my old mans S4 when they were on holiday, I decided I needed some excitement back in my life. Deciding against hard drugs, prostitutes, or anything else illegal, this found it’s way to me:
It’s one of 4 as far as I can work out in RHD in this colour which everyone thinks is Techno Violet, but it’s not, it’s Mora Metallic which is by all accounts pretty rare it would seem.
It’s been lovingly cared for throughout its life and cosmetically it couldn’t really be much better, having had a glass out respray in 2011.
The only slight cosmetic issue is the drivers seat bolster but I plan on having both fronts re-conolised when time allows.
Mechanically I have replaced the Vanos, clutch and gearbox linkages bushes, rear hub top link bushes, front brakes, and carried out a full inspection 2 service (had a local specialist do the Service so as to keep the full service history up to date)
