1991 BMW E30 318is 16v Project in Alpine White - £SOLD - NN8

Too many other projects, cars and life in general mean this old girl has to be moved on.  My recent 600 SEL purchase needs some money spending on it, and I already have two other E30s, so this is the one which has fallen down the pecking order and reluctantly now up for sale, as it is.

I purchased this in September 2017, with the intention of getting it sorted.  It hasn't to been on the read since 2015, but the previous owner had it since 2002 and seems to have looked after it well.

This isn't a kitted up 316i - it is a genuine E30 318iS 16v with the 'M42B18' Twin Cam 140 BHP engine, complete with the lower lip spoiler (needs re-fitting) and checked cloth sports seats.  

These cars are extremely rare and sought after these days, and often hailed as the 'baby M3'.
It has just had:

* Full BMW Inspection II Service at AutoWerx in Milton Keynes:  Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Fuel Filter, Spark Plugs x 4
* Gearbox Oil
* Diff Oil
* Coolant Overhaul
* Brake Fluid Overhaul 
* 4 New Toyo Proxes Tyres
* New Battery with 3 Year Warranty

It needs a bit of touching up around the body, mainly the rear arches, but it isn't a rot box visually.  Underneath, however, it does need quite a bit of welding.  You can check the MOT failure in 2018 online, and it will show what it needs.  I have been quoted approximately £850 from an outfit I know for the MOT fail items.  You might get this done cheaper, but some places may charge more.  Driver's door lock barrel is damaged.

It does have a fully working Clifford Alarm System.

It's a good project for someone who can weld, or knows someone that could do it for a reasonable price.

It also needs some door cards for the interior, as the old ones were in a poor state and removed by previous keeper.  Would also benefit from a wheel refurb to make them mint, and a set of BMW centre badges.  Window switches currently not operating, sunroof switch is missing.

The car is located in Wellingborough, Northants, NN8 post code and I will be going there tomorrow to get it cleaned and take photos.

The price is £4700.  It owes me a little more than that, but I need the space and funds now, so want a quick and hassle free sale.  Approx £1k will have it back on the road, and a little more spent sorting the body and other bits will turn this into a £7.5k+ car, which will only further appreciate in years to come.  E30 325i Sports are almost £15k nowadays, so these are the next ones to reach high values.

I am not interested in people telling me it needs this, it needs that - I know what it needs and I know my cars, so please don't waste my time and your breath.  Try finding another one for sale - they are like hen's teeth.
