Good progress on the Z today. Adjusted out the slack on the pedals, got the MAF back on, started polishing the alloys, completed an OBD check with only code 14 . Under sealed the arches And my brochure arrived

Got the window regulator swapped out today and put back on the half polished wheel. The window was a total ball ache to do!

And she is road legal! Passed the mot and now has new Cambelt, Aux belts, water pump, 35mm springs and front shocks. Drives like a new car compared to how it was hit still needs bushes on the rear somewhere. All in all very pleased. Now to get her ready on the bodywork for this years shows

Absolutely love this. Can't remember last time I saw one on road.. I'm surprised there isn't more rot on a Nissan of that era...
Bookmarked!

Getting a lot done to the car during the lockdown. Today I converted the old PR1 ignition module to the more modern PRW2 . This is completed with the use of an adaptor harness for the states. Also managed to track down the poor idle to either a poor FPR of fuel pump . Will change the FPR first! Next job is rebuilding the internal door handle as the old plastic brackets have snapped so have got nice new ally ones from the U S of A!!
