So I managed to buy a car I have known since I was 11. It was a friend of my dad's who has owned the car since it was 4 years old. it was off the road for 10 years at one point, then recommissioned and never used. Just paid for it and picking it up at the weekend , Its a 230BHP manual (rare) Turbo with targa roof. Only 2 owners from new and 99k miles with all receipts. Only thing needing work is the rear arch paintwork and a small dent on the wing, the rest is usual age related upkeep. Will post up pic as the project starts imgur.com/Ond7lLBimgur.com/oJLSgRVimgur.com/Ond7lLBimgur.com/4y5itcevimgur.com/2YAKZSUimgur.com/koQ2y5Simgur.com/taZyWz6for some reason the pics don't seem to be loading :S , ives used the tags and the link works but will try and figure it out!

If you are using a desktop try dragging and dropping the pictures in to the post or if you have the Tapatalk app you can upload them straight from your phone. Looking forward to seeing the picture of the car mate. 👍🏻

I love that and couldn't tell you the last time I've seen one on the road. I saw one on the road last night! There's a guy local to me. Well, assume he must be as I see it driving around a fair bit, has a mint looking light blue one. But yes, they must be very rare now and have been for some time.

Got it back home today, had 3 of the 4 callipers stick on so had to pop and see my brother who freed them off
It’s has a misfire on idle and very light throttle which needs looking at. But overall it’s epic

These are starting to grow on me. Looks mint. Friend of mine had 3.0NA some 20 years ago, being young and immortal few timeswe sat on top of targa with cruise control set on 25mph.

Due to my brother being injured at Weymouth Beach race I haven’t touched the car for about 5 weeks. Just had a quick few hours on her Managed to fit new boot struts, new plugs and leads, tightened up loose bolts on the seat mech meaning less slack Wound in the bolster adjustment as it was stuck on full pinch meaning I couldn’t even fit back into the seat Fixed the loose trim on the targa top. Still to fix are a misfire on idle and light throttle , slack in drivetrain Then polish wheels, under seal and repaint

Sorry to hear about your brother. Guess he’s the Marshall who got hurt?
Hope he’s doing better now.
