We have here for sale my 1981 Mk1 Golf GLS
1981 mk1 Golf GLS in Inari silver Regrettably selling my mk1 due to lack of space to store it indoors.
I’ve had the car for just over a year, about 10 months of which I daily drove it without it ever letting me down.
Specs:
- Paint: Inari silver faded to about 50 shades of green.
- 1.5 petrol engine and 4 speed gearbox (Not going to blow your trousers off but you cruise at 70 without any trouble).
- GLS spec means that it’s got nice door cards and brown tinted glass so that the world looks like an 80s photograph.
- ATS cups have absolutely no kerbing and tyres have plenty of life left.
- New exhaust from the manifold back.
- New rear brake shoes and cylinders.
- Nearly a full years MOT, it only has 1 or 2 MOTs left before its exempt anyway.
- Lowered on coilovers (if you hadn’t noticed) still rides along nicely.
- GTI front splitter.
- Red tinted tail lights.
- Apart from a 50p sized hole in the drivers seat, the upholstery is all clean and untorn.
- Has dealer anti rust coating underneath so the body is very solid apart from a small hole in the rear left arch.
