Just bought a 1973 Hunter estate
Looking for inspiration/pics from you other wagon owners
I wanna lower it 2” to start with
I believe Capri Mk2 coils fit ... what ones dya use for a 2” drop
Escort blocks on rear ?
I got some ford 1600e rostyles what size tyres yous using? I believe I need spacers on rear.... what width you’s using?

If your correct with the Capri springs, then all bigpan Ford Escort springs will fit. How much they lower the car will depend on where the Hunter spring pan is welded on the strut when compared to the Escort strut. I’ve just fitted 190lb std height Escort springs on my Cortina and it’s lowers it about 2” compared to standard. My Lotus steels are the same width as Rostyles and I’ve fitted 175x60 Yokohamas. They not rubber bands like the 175x50, but don’t look as big as a 175x70.  |
