My first car that has been mine for almost 20 years, did a quick resto to be able to drive it back then but now it has been standing for many years at my fathers house, had to move it to my place now since it was standing in the way for a tree he was going to cut down....
Did a quick inspection, floor is looking like the one in Fred Flintstones car and most of the panels up front will need to be changed, but it is certainly not impossible to save it.....
Future plans are C20NE with R25 box, Volvo 240 rear axle, Volvo 240 front brakes (they are an easy fit they say, so we'll see...), a repaint in the same orange (original on this car, but I like it, it is so cool and 70s looking), slot mags or some other wheels correct for the era, Holden Gemini grille with round headlights, a chrome roof rack, maybe wood paneled luggage area like in a Volvo Duett (see the picture below), some 70s looking bucket seats up front and back seat reupholstered to match.......
Don't expect this thread to be fast moving though..............
