Is it just me, or are you going to need a holiday when you get home to get over this one? Strikes me you should be charging for access to this thread, itโs FAR more entertaining than half of the so-called โentertainment โ commercially available ๐ Can Hotwire put up a counter so you can see how many people are travelling vicariously with you?

Looks like you are doing your "thang" dude. I know you are enjoying you journey. Stay safe.
You could just fill a container with what ever you find and ship it all home via ship. That way you could a Pacer, a 54 Chevy and few other vintage not projects.
Take care, have fun, try to stay out of trouble.

And Iยดm sure other users would help you to fill it up and share the shipping costs. But which of your mates would like a container on their property for a few months?

โJudicious Marksmanshipโ love that on the gun sign lol. Food looks awesome. Amazes me how back yards are full of cars and trucks just driven in and left standing. Looks fine but could you imagine that in the UK? Council would be down on you like a tonne of bricks. What sorta miles are you covering per day to take in all those great experiences? They are quite serious about shooting here. Problem with the USA and food, is that there is so much of it. The standard table of 4 big hairy arsed working rednecks having lunch will get up from their mountainous plates of food, AFTER eating and there is usually honestly enough food left on their plates to serve two UK sized meals. This is the norm........ I will try to capture a photo in the next few days of an empty table, after they have left. So this, in my way of thinking, results in my eating 1.5 times the meals I should, as I do not leave food on the plate, itโs how I got brought up. In Tulsa, I had a Chicken Fried Steak, with sides as per me by, and completed the race...... Adam and Dennis both said WTF ?!?!?!?!!!! craigrk did not finish his plate either....... So food is a problem, itโs good, tasty, and excessively served. People here own acres of land, and rules are very different. We do up to 450 miles a day. Yesterday started 07.00 and we only got to Clarksville, Arkansas at 8pm Filled the Dually twice, used $160.00 in diesel........ Craig does maintain 10-20mph above posted limits, and still the 18 wheelers, trucks and cars come flying by on the motorways. As stated by many, many others, this, as always, is a fantastic write-up Rian. For those of us not able to be there, it's a lovely piece of escapism for us Thank you very much. I can honestly say, my soul and heart is always in it, enjoying it, but my body suffers badly, both over eating, snacking, think Kingsize everything in the truck, and then sleeping 3-5 hrs per night, or less. Not changing it though. Happy to have you guys along. Especially the ones chatting, commenting and posting in here. There is a counter in the views for people accessing the thread. Vince Morning Vince. Thank you, we will be headed past Dons in two hours, just stopping for coffee and a chat as we are headed to Donnie in Strawberry. Joining us, or do you have a sermon to present?? I know you are retired but Men if God never really retire do they? Bit late with the reply Rian but hereโs the Dennis Healey worms. Aha !!! Thanks. You could just fill a container with what ever you find and ship it all home via ship. That way you could a Pacer, a 54 Chevy and few other vintage not projects. And Iยดm sure other users would help you to fill it up and share the shipping costs. But which of your mates would like a container on their property for a few months? I would only fill a container with my own shites.... Logistics are more challenging Hi Rian, I am enjoying the updates, keep them coming. Made this for you. Thanks bud. Soooo, we need more pictures to live vicariously through your trip. Just saying There is no time...... And I have no WiFi or data on the road. Lovely O2 killed my mobile UNLIMITED data AFTER THREE DAYS. I AM NOT IMPRESSED. AND SOME MOTELS HAVE NO INTERNET. WE ALL HAVE TO BE PATIENT. BREAKFAST NOW, THEN 200 MILES TO THE NEXT COFFEE STOP. LATER.

You were already on down the road from Don's before I read your latest installment of this thread. We just got home from chuch and lunch.
I'll always be in the faimly business as our Father instructs all of His children. I'm a facilitator of the Sunday morning Bible study. Some calls it teaching but I call it guiding the discusion.
There are a few Sundays each year I'm asked to preach. Also people still ask me to serve at funerals and memorials from time to time.
My full time job now is taking care of all my projects.
The food portions are big enough that we bring food home for another meal. Almost every meal we buy turns out to be two meals.
The large portions is the reason Americans are getting bigger every day.
You can never have too many guns or enough ammo.
Take care and stay safe.

Real time (almost) update. 05.00 Jonesboro Arkansas Met up with Purple Heart Steve at his home and shop yesterday when we got into town. Shop tour then off to find a motel for the night. Invited him to join us for a steak (NO DRINKS AS ITS A DRY COUNTY) but at Coltons you can order alcohol if you show ID and join their club. I had a rum and coke, Steve opted for a tall glass of Chardonay. After dinner we headed back to the motel, only to be confronted by this....... My first ever DONK !!!!!!!! And it was a Hemi. Super nice owner and his girl. Loved the car for just how crazy it is in real life. Selfie time as dinner did not produce one. Certainly a highlight for us. Would I drive one, own one?? Hell no. But lovely people all the same. Thank goodness for brave people pushing envelopes. Off too breakfast at 08.00 then George Poteets place near Memphis at 09.00 Later.

Andy bought a 1948 Chevrolet Business mans Coupe at auction over a year ago. But being retired, of course is crazy busy at all times. Anyway, Dennis being a body guy, offered to remove some of the dents for him, deck lid in situ. So the first job was hammering metal. With nothing more than hammers and some spoons and dollies, he could not do as much as he wanted to, but itโs now ready for the next step which will be pulling the low spots back, which Andy will do. Ready for the pin puller, then more fine tuning, skim filler and paint. Andy chose not to remove the complex inner skin of the lid, which would make the job really easy. In the mean time we prepped a few molds for some castings I wanted to do. Masters out. Ready for casting. The casting need to be done early morning, so we would be back early on Thursday morning before 08.00 to melt and cast these. So this is out of sequence to the actual trip as Thursday evening still needs to be written up. THURSDAY MORNING. HEADED INTO THE SHOP......... HOW MANY PEOPLE OWN A CABOOSE ON THEIR LAND?? One of many. Melting videos not uploaded, will need to edit and upload some time, it takes too much time. Open casting is not as precise, but I wanted a paperweight for my coffee table. Results. These are for the tailgate bench I built previously. Paperweight, includes extra flow out that I had created in sand template. Craig finishing off the plaques, after Dennis has trimmed then on the bandsaw. After this we headed out to ur Lakeside Motel that Adam had gone to arrange earlier in the day while we were all doing stuff on the farm. Craig was a bit tired and clocked out before dinner. I will go back into the sequence later to update on the evening and motel etc. Now get going for another long day.

Step out of the hotel this morning, only to be greeted by....... Yup, you guessed it. Another DONK !! And to add to the fun, itโs a truck. Not as extreme as last nights Dodge Hemi, but a DONK nonetheless Steve just pulled into the car park as I took the pics.... and said the scene has slowed down in town. Off to breakfast now and then Memphis and itโs magic.
