1973 FORD LTD 4 DOOR PILLARLESS SEDAN.
400 V8 with C6 Column Auto.
Very Original Car.
Originally From California.
Came Over From Florida About 3 or 4 Years Ago.
Bodywise its all original & has never seen the welding torch or any bondo.
Was resprayed the original colour (Ginger Bronze) in the States a little while before coming here.
Torn vinyl roof was removed & the roof resprayed white whilst over here.
All the chrome, trims, badges, grill, bumpers, etc.....are the originals.
Original 15" steels with dog dish caps.
75 profile whiteband tyres replaced just before leaving The States.
Underneath is totally rock solid & in its original paint.
The interior is mostly original.
The front seat has been re-trimmed some time ago in The States in vinyl to match the door trims.
The rear seat is still in its original cloth trim (with some signs of its 46 years of age).
The original headliner has started to come un-stitched in a few places.
The dash top & pretty much the whole dash is un-marked & original.
The only modifications are a new set of Moon Temp, Oil & Volt gauges under the dash as these only came with a Fuel gauge from the factory.
Plus a modern stereo with speakers hidden in the rear shelf & under the seat.
Its had a new heater matrix fitted since being here & works perfectly.
Mechanically its about as original & un-messed with as you can get.

Obviously power steering & brakes.
New 2 Barrel Autolite Carb.
Engine, Trans, Axle, Brakes, Charging System, all serviced & updated recently.
Remote Trans cooler fitted.
Still on a single pipe exhaust system & is whisper quiet to drive.
Hideaway wipers.
1973 (first year) safety bumper overiders,
Squidgy soft bumper body inserts all in perfect condition.
All four windows roll down smooth for the pillarless hardtop vibe.
Soft squishy suspension with the added pleasure of 70's style Cop Show tyre squeal on roundabouts just adds to the 70's experience.
Its about as 70's American TV show as you can get.
Huge car, beaten only in shear size by Cadillac & Lincoln.
Rare car to find over here as they were really only used as Embassy Cars & were hardly ever imported for personal pleasure.
Made famous on TV mainly through Starsky & Hutch (Hutch's car) & The Streets of Sanfransisco.
MOT & Tax Exempt registered (was always MOT'd before the rules changed).
Will be exempt from the upcoming ULEZ thats coming to the North/South Circular in London in the next year or so.
