Hi all, going to pick up the latest addition to the fleet tomorrow and looking for some ideas. So anyone seen any cool mk1 fezzas? I'm particularly liking this look at the moment - if any potatoshoppers can change the colour to red I'd be very grateful probs not the best pic, I'll see if I can get some better ones

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Hehe! You even removed the cars from the background too! This is pretty cool too - mk1 supersport

I've had a hankering for one of these for a long while now. Such a cracking shape to start with. I had a pale blue one years ago and that old " wish I'd never sold it now" saying springs to mind.

Lets get it out of the way early on - Matt black, slammed over wide steels + stretch.

Cool, I quite like the bluey one with the xr2 kit and pepperpots.
While I'm at it who knows about crossflows - I've been trying to find out if it's worth putting a 1600 head on a 1300, so far I've found some people saying do it as the 1600 valves are bigger and some saying the valves are the same size on both? The 1300 that's in there has already got a cam in it, and is on twin 40's so wouldn't mind sticking with it for now.

may aswell stick with it in that case, the 1300 is a pretty pokey engine, especially with uprated cam and twin 40s on, ask slater about the engines, hes rebuilding an xr2 engine but with diesel pistons and crazy stuff like that, genius

Argh one of my pet hates - black number plates on cars too new to have them on! Arrgghhh!
(I appreciate the subtle irony in this statement)
As its a Ford you are obliged to prattle on about the "sarf landan look" and pretend you have met Ron Harris.
I remember a Fiesta Mk1 van with candy paint, multi colour graphics and loads fo flake, port hole windows and slot mags on bias plys. Deep buttoned draylon interior. I think its time for someone to do a clone or "homage" car.
