I am putting this low mileage project on for a friend, didn't get any joy with a "What's it worth" so price is based on research and engine cost alone- personally I think it's a bit cheap but it's not my car!
1977 Cadillac Seville with just 42K on the clock - unfortunately been sitting for 30 years, last run about 10 years ago so it's a project but it's not had much use.
5.7L, petrol, 350 cu V8
High Spec Interior needs a clean New back suspension, brakes and exhaust Air cleaner is in the boot, sorry trunk.
Huge Workshop manual and a more normal size Haynes Oh and the cigarette lighter works
£2500 no PX

I’ve been looking for one of those to build a pro-touring type car. Best of luck with the sale, it’s just the right amount of different.

Thanks, as I said a favour for a mate - who has done lots for others so happy to spend a bit of time helping him out. Hoping an enthusiast pics it up as it's a special bit of kit and can't believe the mileage! I think the price is about right but as always it is what the market will pay, if any one is a member of any specialist US car forums would appreciate a mention!

Bit more info in response to couple of enquiries
--------- Body is good as car has been stored inside a garage for all that time. For last 12 months it’s been outside but under a car port.
I’ve not had a look underneath etc but there is no obvious holes etc etc. Also being that old I’m not saying or expecting it to be perfect.
Last time engine was started it was plus gas and down plug holes, turned over by hand. Flush and new oil and started good.
It does have a known issue with two senors in the engine. The accepted fix was a variable resistor which works. The replacement sensors are difficult to come by. I have two S/H sensors that are know to work.
It will need at damn good service and check over before starting and will need to be taken away on a trailer
Other than that it was a daily driver before being parked up ---------

I am bouncing this up.
It has bugged me for a few weeks.
However, of course I have other things to deal with but need this to be bought and used.

Blimey. That’s an interesting project.
Basically the Seville is basically a Chevy Nova with a fuel injected version of the Oldsmobile V8
They are full spec machines, although smaller it was more expensive new than a Sedan de Ville

Need to get this on a few more fora and progressively reduce the asking price until it hits a price that someone is willing to pay.

Hey all, thought I'd let you know I actually ended up buying this cadillac off eBay around Xmas time, was the second to last bidder on it, but the winning bidder messed about so it was offered to me, so I shot up to a dodgy car dealership in Coventry dragged it on a trailer back to Wadhurst, east Sussex. engine was partially seized excess petrol had washed away any oil residue. after a few days on it I had it running and driving on 7 cylinders, ecu was in trouble where it was filling the bores in about 2 seconds, I soldered in 3 new icus to the ecu mother board and that's sorted the flooding, stripped the top end down to find 2 broken cam followers which caused the miss fire. Anyway after a load of fiddling and fixing various things I've still got it now and is motd and driving about daily, very fond of it will try and add some pictures. I was wondering if anyone knew what happed to the books that are in the for sale ad above as they didn't come with it. Also if any one has any previous history on it that would be fantastic? Thought it may have been of interest to you all anyway Thanks Barney
