I did start do something on the interior this morning but due to a couple of things that are out of my control with the fitment I could not complete this (to be sorted at a later date). So I fitted the a mod to the front suspension to stiffen it up a bit. These are my design to fit the 19mm Dia ARB and were machined for me by Bad Obsession Motorsport those of project Binky fame around both ARB's where the clamps are I have fitted some cut and split inner tube rubber strips the allen bolts and nuts are M8 stainless steel, BOM as well as doing the machining also had the clamps clear pasivated as part of the cost and they did a great job. The second ARB has had the threaded ends cut off and sharp edges removed before painting.
Still not fitted mine yet Pete. I've got more mods to do at the front when I get time, I will probably fit them then.

I have just tried that dose not work either all I get in the BBCode is this: and nothing else on preview, just blank. I have successfully posted the same images on Buy Sell Cortina without any problem all working fine. So I know it's this site not my computer or my set up all of my images are set to a max width of 1024 and are around 150k in size so they are not to big in file size.

Well over the last few days while it's been windy and rainy, I have been slowly beavering away fitting things.
I just need for some dry weather so I can get her outside and take some more pictures.
And with all the work covers back on the front end, they are 1970's period body work covers I could not find anything on "Kex" Cover Service on a google search so they may not be in business any more. Still more going on, on this re build with more interior trim I'm having to fabricate to give me what I want. More to follow.
It appears that yesterdays Adobe flash update screwed up the forum image up-loader script as I un-installed flash and the up-loader works now.

Seeing the full trim against the colour shows what a good choice it is 👍🏻 I think it’s now clearly a huge success 😄

Pete - Never heard of 'Kex' before - although has a kid back in the dark deep wonderful place called 'Yorkshire' - 'kecks' was a slang terminology for underpants * * Disclaimer: Not that I am insinuating anything !

An abiding memory I have is a kid in the 70’s at my school in Derbyshire, who was affectionately known as ‘Psycho’ for his wild staring eyes, running out onto the field for school sports day having forgotten to put his shorts on - and a cry from the massed gathering of kids echoing across the field: ‘Psycho’s in his Keks!!!’

Well after running her up to temp a few times I noticed it does like to spit out some water when she's at temp so I needed an expansion tank, having looked for one and not finding one "What can I do?"
The aluminium water bottle was £5.49 of Evil Bay, with a hole in the top cap for the pipe from the rad cap.
That's mounted on the side of the rad below the servo, a bit tight but uses up the space well.
The bracket was £1.62 for two of them at Screwfix with two strips of added foam all works great.
I managed to do it all for less than £8 the 1mm aluminium strip for the bracket I all ready had and I bonded it together with Super Glue after ruffing up two of the faces and the M8 bolts from the bits box.

Well my theory is you have long neck rad with a short neck cap on it, hence it spitting out water.

If you brim the radiator, it will always spit some water out until it finds its own level. Adding the bottle as a dead leg is a good idea. I do the same on the rally car. The pipe goes down to the bottom of the bottle so when it spits some water out, it will be drawn back in when the system contracts.

Our minor does the same it stops when the coolant is about half way down the header tank, if you get a rad cap with w seals and one way valve it should draw the coolant back from your new tank.
This looks great I might do the same on the minor, looking on ebay you can also get alloy brackets to hold them meant for bikes(when you stick 14 stone of lycra clad rider on a bike 20g on the bottle holder makes all the difference apparantly);

So coming to KenB's comment above and your clue about a rad cap. What he meant was that it sounds like the new cap isn't long enough (deep enough) so, while it latches at the top - it isn't sealing properly at the bottom end of the cap. Hence the spitting. Does that make sense? (It is a well known MG problem where the necks on the rad were lengthened and people inadvertantly buy the wrong sized rad cap)

Yup that is spot on by JPS, common problem people, ok Anglia owners lol, fall into and it looks like your rad has the long neck. 99% new caps from normal motor factors are short ones, because thats what they changed to using in the later days of bras type rads. You can still get the longer ones from clubs and the like and possibly some motor factors, but I had mine fitted with a short neck so i didn't have to mess around finding long neck caps.
