	Could someone explain to me how a relay works? I'm in the process of re-wiring my beetle. I need to connect the wires to the indicator relay the wiring diagram shows + - and S but on the relay I have 3 different numbers. So not sure where the wires should go Cheers

	Can you post a pic of said relay's terminals, and the part number? Difficult to help without knowing what it is.

	Your flasher unit should be using the numbers 31,49,49a.If so the 31 terminal is earth or-.The 49 terminal is power in or +.The 49a terminal is load or switch s.Hope this helps.
