So firstly thanks for reading my post. I have decided to sell my cortina after nearly 5yrs together.
She was born in March 1982 in essex. To a owner that had her for 10ys plus I believe. So she is a local car to me from kent. And never lived further than Luton. She is a 5 owner car. She is a little different to how she was born as a little 1.6 pinto. She now runs a 2.3 L4 efi engine. She has power steering electric front windows remote central locking. She has a type 9 five speed. Adjustable gaz shocks all round. Vented discs up front and rear disc conversion on the rear. She has a remote boot release and has a mk5 escort steering column and switch gear. It has the complete ghia interior in bitter chocolate. Rev counter and the ghia clock. It has a kenlow fan in there too. She has also appeared in ashes to ashes and if you goggle the reg COO 357X it comes up with a pic of her with keeley hawes. So Is she mint. No is the answer but she is a good solid car. She has been welded. The heater box was rotten underneath and this was all cut out plated and the whole engine bay repainted. I have pics of this. I had some welding done to the NSF chassis rail. So all solid now. I can not for 12 mts if wanted. She has 43k on the clock with the original bill of sale and every mot from new. With a massive folder of receipts. If I kept it I would do a few things. Replace the exhaust as I had a mild steel one fitted and its noisy and vibrates a tad. And I would get the seats re padded as the cloth looks a tad saggy. And a small scab on the off wheel arch. As can be seen she has the granny spoiler and the boot spoiler. Correct spots on there as well. Come and have a look
Regards
