Decided to busy myself this weekend, also i wanted to get out the house, so i thought i'd rack up 1100 miles on a landy defender and do some car hauling missions. First one was getting the capri haulin'. This was a PITA as it has stood for about 6 months and all brakes were seized. So after a lot of faffing i got it on the trailer.
How anyone can drive a landy with a doorhandle is beyond me though, they are placed at perfect dig-into-quads level.
So off it went, rental company wasn't best pleased though ;D

The beast, you feel utterly indestructable in it, those two hefty girders up front helping to that:

Capper looking haerrendously sorry for itself, it'll be back soon though

First thing was to haul it up to graham's place, in aylesbury. Had to stop the landie somewhere to wait for him. thankfully outside a retro garage so had a poke about whilst waiting:

Was just about to go back to the car when i saw these poking their snouts out:

Then made my way up to nottingham to pick up the old monza beastie, thought this would barely fit on and would be a pain to move, but was the easiest of the lot, as it was just a shell with wheels, towed so easy. A nicer bloke than brian you could not meet, mintest of mint 3000 GSI he has as well, oof!

After dropping that off at BC's thought i'd make the most of the lack of traffic and bomb down to brighton, got into a travelodge about 4. Then at 9ish went to pick up the next package, this rather cool looking an fapping awesome sounding datsun 260Z. I don't care how much rot it has, it sounds simply stunning.

Took that back to aylesbury, and then miandered down to west sussex somewhere, to pick up the RCC club aggro, the long term plan for it is a zetec and some RWD, i say long term, I mean in glacial terms. Coming down the A41 with an empty trailer i saw the coolest bay window join the road, A-framing, similarly, the coolest looking IMP i ever did see, however i was in a rush and he was going slow so pics were not to be
A couple of kool kars on the M3/A3:
Really nice splittie:

Judging by this long-ass tail back you'd think the big accident which sut down the M3 was on our side of the road, not so, it was on the opposite side, this que was simply caused by rubber-neckers.

Couple o rubbishy pics of the aggro, got some kerwality looks hauling this thing ;D

Finally dragged that back to aylesbury as well, however i refused to leave without a hoon (on private land, no really) of the 260Z i had dropped off earlier. I mean it was rude not to, it has, without doubt, the best sounding engine/exhaust combo i have heard in the last couple of years. Straight six power ftw. It's also one of the fastest things i've ever been in! Dunno if being in a landrover with 2tonnes behind it might have warped my sense of speed, but it felt fugging rapid.
Turn the sound up!
