Hey i remember you from my passionford days!! Hows the maxi build going? Bookmarked this thread! Yeah bud that'll be me. Maxi F2 is tucked away for another day at present as no workshop will get back on her one day. Well with no curse word about today I wanted to make a start so outwith the angle grinder And in with the new manifold and turbo I have got to make a notch in the front chassis leg over hang but not a massive chore Will remove inlet next

Managed to source the correct flange for exhaust housing as my K27 is rare external waste gate one and 6 bolt flange took some research and HX40 flange is correct one. Also fitted turbo jacket. Then modified the brake servo bracket for my master cylinder box not 100% happy as not sure on how the double pivoted bar will push against this yet. We'll see. And finally today I also managed to fit the heater blower mod box to gain even more room on bulk head area.

I love this and I can't wait to see more progress! I went and test drove an RS2000 years ago! (I must have been about 18 / 19?) It was dodgy as hell and had clearly been in an accident and badly repaired. I walked away from it but never looked at another one for some reason. I always liked the way they looked both inside and out, yours looks great! Good luck!

Andy Cheers man yeah I can't wait too lol would of been more progress but I've had some surgery put me out of action for a while but slowly getting back to it now There are some rough ones around now, I've now got a few in my collection and just bought the wife one in Auralis Blue which is great colour, same as my Escort Cosworth can't wait to se them both driving together.
