Hi,
I have for sale a 1949 Triumph Roadster. This was a barn find and has been laid up since 1971.I bought it in early 2018 but I now need the space so it has to go. As you can see it has the chassis, rear body, bonnet, hood frame (including the front hood bow).
There is no engine, gearbox, interior or wings but the steering, bumpers, radiator, speedometer (glass damaged) rear axle, dickie seat, doors are all there. The radiator grill is there but damaged. You can see in one of the pictures the spares that come with it.
It has the chassis plates and body number present - I have the British motor heritage certificate confirming the car is what it is. It was manufactured on the 21st March 1949 and I believe it was originally champagne in colour with a "rust" coloured interior
The chassis seems reasonably solid and the car rolls, moves and steers well.
If required I have the ability to deliver this car which we can negotiate additional to the purchase price.
The price is £1600 ono. If you are interested please call me on 07812318895
I'll be sad to see it go but circumstances mean I have to. The pictures can be found here: www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1128316
Kind Regards
James
