Thought I’d share some pics of my Manta on here. I was never happy with my ride height so thought I’d try air ride😎I got the kit from a company in Croatia I found on Instagram but it came with no installation instructions so having had no air ride experience before it was a head f**k to figure out, although fitting the bags was a piece of cake. Essentially you are replacing the coil springs with air springs and the best way to fit the system is to Keep It Stupid Simple remove as few standard parts as possible and modify as few parts as possible.

If you break a spring it will just sit there if you blow a bag it will hit the ground, you may not like it once done as well, but I doubt that.

That's great Biffy it's nice that you have obviously done your research and bought the right kit for the right car rather than trying to adapt parts to fit a vehicle they were not meant to fit in and then get peed off trying to sort all the problems.
Well done it looks very good.

Now to get it all plumbed up, as I said a PITA having no experience with anything like this before but got it sussed. Decided to mount everything on a stainless plate in the boot, at least that way I can get to it all should it give me any grief. I have the plate mounted on rubber bobbins and the plan is to have threaded rods coming up from them to hold a frame with clear Perspex on top so I can still throw stuff in on top. Gauge mounted in centre dash vent hole, although I’m going to move these down to the centre console at a later date

I had the car down at the RR gathering in 2016 before the air was fitted, I had standard GTE seats in her then, and after such a long drive my back was bloody aching so bought a pair of freshly retrimmed In full leather RS Turbo recaros. I found a company online selling new daytona check cloth so had the RS Turbo centres retrimmed in the new material👌🏻 You can see the difference between the original and the Turbo seat here Had to cut away the lower bit of the Turbo seats as they were going to sit about 3 inches too high but once that was gone I got the Manta subframe mounted without too much hassle. All fitted and wow what a difference....comfiest seats ever!!

What did the kit cost you if you don't mind me asking?
We have not long ago installed a kit on a caddy for a customer. He supplied the kit as the quality was pretty outrageous to be honest

What did the kit cost you if you don't mind me asking? We have not long ago installed a kit on a caddy for a customer. He supplied the kit as the quality was pretty outrageous to be honest The kit was just a few quid over £1000 including shipping. I’d say the bags look like decent enough quality and the mountings are well enough made. The management is cheap though, it’s just a truck air tank so only 3 ports and no feet (I had to weld the feet onto it) valves are just a few quid online as I bought a couple to have for spare. I also bought a lot of the fittings separately, y pieces instead of the tee’s supplied just to make it all a bit neater, safety blow off valve, that little blue manifold and the tank pressure gauge as none of that came with it. I’m happy enough with it all for now but will definitely be looking into airlift 3p management in the future when funds allow.
