So here is 'Fletcher', a late S1 Allegro 1275cc He was driven into a garage in Wales in 1995 and hasn't turned a wheel until the other week. It was serviced, with new oil and tires, then put away. In 24 years the garage door was rarely opened and not at all in the last 10. The engine turns over fine and the starter works, steering lock currently seized so I need to sort that out. We had to free up the rear drums with a couple of big hammers to get it on the trailer The Patina is original 1995!

Thanks, it will be different I've turned it over on the starter and that works, put a little gt85 in the cylinders and spun it. Fuel leaked out of the carb or feed to it, so the pump works lol Steering lock is currently jamming the ignition barrel so need to sort that. then any tips and a first start, carb etc? I'll feed it from a fuel can in the engine bay I think.

The plan is badass low rider with a hydraulic pump and tank in the boot, split charge, extra battery in the boot. Arch rolling time, and I should probably make it run lol

Not too shabby at all no nasty knocks etc. How's it look exhaust end ? Bit tappetty but that's easy to sort, probably leaks from the rocker gasket anyway ! Result ! James
