I have owned this car for about 23 years but due to a long term illness making working on cars uncomfortable and not enjoyable anymore, I am looking to make a hugely reluctant sale. She will come with 12 months MOT, a stack of history and receipts and an interesting background - you can read more here forum.retro-rides.org/thread/92259/1980-triumph-tr7
A now very reliable car that I would drive anywhere - I took her to France two summers ago, see the above link for details. Bodywork was restored a few years ago for my daughters wedding but she is starting to bubble in the usual places, see the pics below, and will need work soon to stop this going further. She has been looked after and driven, she is not a polished trailer queen.
Upgrades that I can remember I have done to her are - Electronic Ignition, single box S/Steel exhaust and tubular manifolds, K&N filters and carburettor needle upgrade to BAL to suit, electric fan, halogen headlights with individual relays, Compomotive alloys.
Recentish (last couple of years) work includes new fuel tank, propshaft, head rebuild, carb rebuild, timing chain kit.
Here are recent pictures showing the worst details, but please bear in mind she is a good, solid car that I would be comfortable driving long distances.
Interior
Underbonnet could do with a clean
Solid boot floor
Bubbles
