Up for sale here is my Honda Civic. I only bought this a couple of months back and I love it to bits. Unfortunately the missus doesn't, and also seems highly unimpressed by the number of vehicles slowly creeping up. As such it's up for sale to appease the beast along with a couple of other motors. If the others sell first I'll happily keep this.
So to the car itself. It's a 1983 1.3L Mk2 Civic. Runs and drives like a dream. I drove it seventy miles home including through London back when I bought it. It faired great in the city traffic, and happily sat at 65mph on the motorway. Since then I've mainly used it for pootling around town. Always puts a smile on my face when I use it.
Bodyworkwise the car is solid, but is starting to show its age in places. Typical surface rust around the arches etc, numerous chips in the paint, but nothing too extreme considering its a 36 year old car. My plan was to use it as is and tackle the body in time if I was to keep it. Obviously the sooner it is tackled the better. Petrol flap is currently missing due to a broken clip. I have all the parts, just needs 30 seconds with a welder to sort.
Mechancially the car is good. It had a cambelt and service last year so engine should be trouble free for a while. Gearbox is a 5 speed manual so provides great MPG. Car stops and starts as it should. Bit of a noise coming from what sounds like the front wheel, I'm guessing a ball joint, but nothing that affects the car being used.
Interior is of its time All in general good condition as per the photos. Again everything seems to work as it should.
Car is located in Minster, Kent (ME12 postcode). Viewing is more than welcome. Any questions please ask. Or don't, and let me keep the car
