When the previous owner of my silver 4 door Stanza contacted me to let me know he had a set of original Pardat alloys, I was instantly interested. They were the alloys which had been on the green rally Stanza, which the silver one had been a parts car for. Anyway, I couldn't say no...  And collected a few months ago...  A quick wash...   and some rubber on...  I'm not 100% sure which car to put them on. The blue 5 door (this thread) is so original that maybe they'd be better on the silver saloon, but when I faced them up I think they'll look great...  |

I entered this Stanza for the concourse area of Festival of the Unexceptional, and lo an behold, it only got selected! Now I'm a bit panicked as I feel like I need the petrol filler flap sorted before the event (31st July), and I've just realised the MOT runs out on the 8th July too.
I've actually taxed it today (yes, I know I'm losing out taxing it halfway through the month), but I want this extra fortnight to get things sorted. It's the first time it's been taxed since March '20 and Lockdown 1.

Sorting a few things out on this one in preparation for the Festival of the Unexceptional.
CV boots replaced on both sides, which were the only advisory on the last two MOT's (I've only done 234 miles between those MOT's). Fresh oil in, and a gearbox oil drained and renewed too.
The aux belt was a bit squealy, mostly on startup for a second or so, but also in the wet the other day when I had my lights, fans and wipers going, so it has a new one on.
The car now has an old school 'Nissan OK' sticker, which they all seemed to have in the rear nearside quarter window, but was for some reason missing. There's also a genuine period AA badge to fit in the front grille.
It's going in to the paintshop tomorrow for a week or so to sort the mismatched fuel filler flap and to refresh the black bumpers.
