Need to sell this, got bigger things on the go so don’t have time for it.
Built on an Anglia donor car with a 1300 crossflow presumably from a cortina. Weber 32/36 carb, some new bits on motor. Have had it running from a can. Fuel tank currently removed to be cleaned out.
Pretty much all rest is Anglia, brake internals are all new. Full early body style with flat wings, flat bonnet with moulded in star and Jago logo on back of tub. Even has the super early dash that takes Anglia dash panel, plus a very nice replacement Anglia dash with gauges and ignition switch. All the metalwork is solid so no welding needed!
It’s ridiculously light, I can pick it up by the rear bumper!
Was built in 1977 and Correctly re-registered (before Q plates existed) so has a JJ chassis number and is untouchable by DVLA. I have a current v5c in my name. Ion Jago term this is really early, the only started production in ‘74, and to get one this early that’s been correctly registered is very rare.
curse word bits- wood floor is rotten and needs replacing. Not a complicated job,,2x sheets of ply from b&q, a jigsaw and a fibreglass kit will see it done, as that’s all they are to start with. It’s all very simple shapes.
Brake/clutch masters are siezed up and need replacing. Just girling type ones so cheap.
Wheels/tyres are curse word and will need work or replacing.
Will need some general reassembly and wiring.
Has wet weather gear but it’s tatty.
Screen cracked.
By no means a difficult project, could be on the road pretty quickly and cheaply.
I’m after a grand or close offer. Really needs to be cash to finance other things.
