The boy racer in me hasn’t died! I’ve had to chuckle this week Ive had numerous dabbles With modern stuff sitting right on my backside on the way home from work this week......I haven’t lost one sprint off yet!...why do people assume a 51 year old will let them take liberties with their tailgating?? I’m still a big kid I’ve driven it hard and enjoyed myself,, I must slow down I’ll be getting some points at this rate! Great seeing the look of dismay as that old mg blows there mundane daily away on the twisty bits

firm believer in the k.i.s.s and f.i.s.h principles.

As I said before when I owned a previous one These are a great little car for summer motoring Many people who have never owned one will tell you they destroy head gaskets drive badly etc This is the third one I’ve owned and despite ribbing from my son and our mates, I can’t recommend them enough The vvc 1800 is a lovely torquey engine, slick gearbox and handling is great If anyone is looking for a cheap fun car as a second car look no further, get in quick though these will see a sharp rise in prices soon I predict!

You can't beat a mid engine, rear drive, rag-top. I've got the Porsche variety. I guarantee neither of us is a hairdresser either
They reckon the hydra-gas (?) suspension gives a much plusher ride than the later TF conventional suspension versions as well
Funny that the nay-sayers are usually people who have never driven or owned these sort of cars. If you believed the interweb you should have had a massive HG failure and my engine should have grenaded the first time i started it up through IMSB failure.
If you drive it at the moment take care. They're going to go hard on people out and about this weekend unless you've had to get something safety checked on the car , going shopping, checking on a vulnerable person etc.

So I’ve got a whole day to myself for the first time in months So I got the mgf out and drove aimlessly for a few hours in rural Kent Managing to pick up some fresh Kent cherries and strawberries on the way Love this little car , drives perfectly and handles Like a dream
