You should ask for a discount for choosing a very bland colour  I'm sure it will look great and help show all the detailing which will make it a special van. |

Van's looking good so far well done. I have a set of those Rose petals for my mini pickup but need the centre's painting, could you tell me what paint you used to get the satin finish?, thanks.

Ohh a paint stripper that works! was that Starchem SynStryp? It is indeed... Was an easy guess, it's literally the only stripper that works these days. |

PERFECT! I could so easily list what else id do to this build, and what colour id paint it, and and and.... I really REALLY like this build. Thanks..the colour ive chosen will suit the vans background as a commercial vehicle..not to everyones taste as the wife of the guy painting it thinks its very bland...! You have Rose petals. You could paint it 50 shades of clear porridge and it would still rock. |

I'd love rose petals. I've a choice between 10x6 revolites or dunlop d1's to go on but if I find a set of Rose petals or another set of image wheels they'd be a priority

I have the Minisport 10" conversion kit and two sets of the original ripspeed hi-lo's so I'm hoping I can work something out. I had a lovely set of 10x7 deep dish image split rims that I stupidly sold to a mate for beer money as I was afraid of them getting nicked lying out the back of the house |

Revolutions are a nice wheel but look better when they are bigger ..D1's are a nice style and suit the mini styling.. Aye I love the d1's but I don't think they're going to be wide enough. It's going on a 1996 MPi Cooper, I've never put 10's on something so recent. I have the Minisport 10" conversion kit and two sets of the original ripspeed hi-lo's so I'm hoping I can work something out. Cracking build, love it.
Amazing how cars that were once so common and cheap are now a collector's item - due to folks not caring since they were common & cheap. I've still got the pressed front panel and load bed for a mini van that I pulled out of the local council recycling place years ago; the owner had just chopped the rusty shell up into about 10 parts as it was "just a rusty heap, lying around in the way."

Welcome along..to be honest I've always favoured saloons with subtle tuning mods..and have kept a safe recipe..you don't need to throw every mod going at a mini just a few carefully chosen parts are all you need to stand out.. 'less is more'...The van was not on my want list it came via a friend at work..so i popped to see it..although needing work the shell was in great condition considering most vans have had a hard time..14 months later here we are in deep ! |

shiny! What top mounts are those? They are solid top mounts which it came fitted with ..although when i stripped the car originally one side had cracked so these are just the originals copied and made from new alloy.. |

I had nylon top mounts in my clubby estate. They made the car feel so much sharper but the noise through the cabin was so much louder. Ive never been in a mini with alloy top mounts, but be prepared for noise! Still awesome of course.
