This is my dad's car, he's had it about 7 years and now wants to sell it due to illness.
1962 Morris Minor Traveller.
Fiat 124 Spyder 2 litre twin cam engine and 5 speed box. Fast road cams, bike carbs, electronic ignition, new water pump and thermostat, new 9" electric fans, Focus ST radiator. Triple plate clutch.
Escort MK2 rear axle. Rear springs replaced.
Front brakes are MK2 escort discs with MK4 fiesta calipers(new seals and pistons). Servo. Anti rollbar.
Fibreglass front and rear wings and front panel and sunvisor.
Front doors are rusting but supplied with fibreglass skins.
It's only got 2 seats, which are part leather from a Rover. Big rev counter on dash. Good stereo with and amp and subs behind seats. Rear is fitted out with fibreglass checker plate.
Wheels are 5x13 front with 165 tyres.
Rears are 7x13 with 195 tyres.
All tyres are excellent.
Bad bits are the Speedo doesn't work, rear door handle lock not working and needs a small plate welding on chassis for mot. It's mot'd til 27th June 2019.
It handles like a go-cart and goes very well with the twin cam engine(approx 160bhp) and stops really well too!! Been mega reliable and driven all over to shows etc. Very regrettable sale but needs to go. Based in Alcester Warwickshire.
